Why is it a shock when it's not the completed squad?

| Quote Saint Simon="Saint Simon"Morley is very good, but graham is one of the best forwards in the world'"
Morley proven himself in the best league week in week out, Peacock has proven himself to be the best in SL for many years. Graham is at best 3rd in this country and not even nearly one of the best in the world.

Sadly for Wire fans in the days when Televisions were still in black and white...

| Quote Kelvin's Ferret="Kelvin's Ferret"I'd like to see Richard Horne stake a claim at fullback, I think he's another one like Pryce who could be international class outside of the halves.'"
The problem for Richard Horne is that he has had his chance at international level. His performance at stand-off in Australia replacing Long when he returned home was one of the worst I've seen from an international halfback.
By contrast Morley has consistently shown he is capable at performing at international level. Similarly Westwood got a chance at the world cup and was arguably one of England's best players hence the reason he kept his spot for the semi final (as did Rob Purdham for same reason).
The reason the jury is still out on Graham is that unlike his excellent form at club level, his performances at international level last year were poor, particularly in relation to Morley and Peacock.

Stop being sensible and coming up with valid points to support you argument.

Now, I may be well off the mark here, but I get the impression that the 17 chosen so far will get the chance to work together and do a bit of bonding, before the other 13 roll up nearer to the French game. The thinking may well be that after the St Helens/Leeds supposed split in the WC camp last year, the squad is being assembled as a UNIT as against different little groups.
As for HKR having no players in the initial 17 but maybe going top of the table if they beat Wigan, so what? The preceding 3 paragraphs were saying how rubbish the whole thing was....and then he says it's an incentive to HKR......make your mind up!
Blogs are OK for venting your spleen, but to go into print and AGAIN quote HKR this and HKR that is just sloppy journalism...nothing new in Rugby League though.
