It's nothing to do with negativity Mike. I'm sure the foundation does do good things Mike and I'm not saying it doesn't. However to say that you have to pay a minimum amount is a joke. It alienates so many people who would love to be there for the first time.

There's a 1000 places going which would total £25,000. Thats if 1000 people can either get £25 sponsor ship or pay it themselves. If your single it's fine I'd pay it out of my own pocket. But for a family It's a minimum of £50 then you have food to pay for at the stadium. So lets say £100 in total for the privilege. That's a fecking ripoff. Especially coming up to Christmas and new season tickets and all the expense involved with that.

A minimum of £10 for adult and £5 for kids would be much more realistic plus any extra that people can then try and raise if they wish to.

No bobby it's not just another 10 as there will have to be drinks and food bought due to the fact it'll be bloody freezing. Plus wasted petrol to take onecar to the new ground then go the willows in the other car. Then after the walk drive back to the willows to pick up the car left behind. It's all one big fecking mess!

I know Hull was over £20, but Wigan is still one of, if not the, cheapest in the league.

Personally ill budget as if i was going to watch a match, as for it being cold in the stands i can imagine it being cold sat / stood on the terrace but underneath the stand i can imagine it being walmer there than at the willows if we were doing the same there as you will be sheltered from the elements

As for transport back to the willows there will be loads in that predicament, perhaps a taxi / bus / lifts can be organised or ring the club and ask if they are looking to put transport back to the willows on, if enough of us ask they might hire a coach or somthing for a small fee when the event finishes

As for how much our tickets on the day of the game will be next season guessing ill go for

Spoke to the organisers today and they are unable to afford any kind of shuttlebus system do to the cost so our only option is a bit of car sharing unfortunately

Here's a novel idea why don't we all do the Turkey Christmas drinks that day, walk to the ground, watch the game and then have a few sherbets making our way back to Eccles.
