I think this offer was a total con. I know loads of people who signed up and none have received anything back.

It's also 2 days before kick off and we have a habit of sending tickets late so I'd check your emails right upto 5pm on Friday!!!!

as a saints fan living in manchester and with a soft spot for salford i signed up to this thinking i would accept sitting with salford fans for the sake of getting in free.



i signed up just before the les cats game and although the advert had advertised free tickets for the saints game, i was emailed a voucher for a free ticket to the les cats game.



i tried again this monday, thinking i'd get a voucher for the saints match this time, and it said the offer had ended.



i don't think it was a con at all - i just reckon they limited the number of vouchers they were prepared to give out.

guys the tickets dont normally come through until thursday just so you know where you stand its not a con its just to make sure people arnt just using false emails and passing them round every one if you catch the drift just be patient and if you signed up for catalans you will probably get another couple of free ones mate happened to a few i know !

All e mails for this game were sent out on Tues afternoon.

I know of several Salford people who applied including the Mrs and not one person has heard anything.

Could these emails have automatically gone to people's junk folders rather than their inbox? Just a thought because I'm always finding 'non spam' messages in my junk folder. It may be worth checking.







I'd of thought the offer was directed more at local Salford people with the aim of attracting them back rather than away fans just looking for a freebie.

I also know of a number of people who applied and again they have received nothing.

Some of these have made other plans now.

Can the marketing team at Salford ever get anything right ?

Surely if the promotion is now closed that would suggest that all the free tickets have been allocated.



I didn't see the offer and I'm assuming from posts on here that the club didn't advise a date when people would be notified. If they didn't it may be an idea in future to do this and prevent any confusion? There appears to be a lack of thought, planning and ability to foresee any problems that may arise. What should be a positive campaign for the club ends up having a negative effect on some supporters.

Hmmmm? 'to as many people as we can'?????????????? Suggests not everybody then??????????????

If it's anything like the promotion the club set up at work then they started to email the tickets today.
