There is nothing here to show the team are behind Alker.

I aint saying he is the right man for Salford K.O.T.S. yeah you are right about a clear out but maybe it should start with the football director which , come on can we really afford?. Bring in a top coach and let Malc learn from him. while they are at it, clear out half of the playing staff.

I wonder how much more of this JW can stand. He's stood by his word and his staff time after time, but has had very little in return. It can't be easy putting all your faith and plenty of finance into a playing squad each year, only to be rewarded with shocking displays, internal disputes and an unhappy and dwindling fanbase. Very, very sad times for Salford (apart from the new Stadium). Infact, as sad/poor as I can recall in 35-40 years of attending, regardless of which division the first team were in at the time.

would get rid of all coaching staff this season,we look unfit and all the disruption isnt helping.

After all this should have been your celebratory season breaking into the top eight and yet here you are in turmoil.Coaches falling sick at the drop of a hat, big name Aussies enjoying yet another six month holiday courtesey of the paying public and all when you'll soon be able to rent the councils new stadium.



Not to sure how much lower the City Reds can go but look on the brightside you can't get much lower than the laughing stock of a club you are fast becoming.

The fact is though the club have handled this in the correct manner, it is Alker who has gone to the press, shows him a different light to what some seem to think he is and for me is vindication of me being against him joining the coaching sey up from the get go.



For me bite the bullt get rid of Alker and SM, appoint Veivers and Simms till the end of the season and have done. Then invest in a big name coach who will hopefully take the club forwards. The beauty in this for me is that I doubt there is a player at the club who Simms didn't bring in and in theory with not being the head coach until now none of them should have an axe to grind against him or Vievers.

Oh we could. Much lower. Much, much lower. Something you should appreciate more than most.



We seem to have a particularly fragile club when it comes to matters like this. It only takes one player, one incident, one ingredient to go wrong and everyone suffers.

Then, without any forewarning, everyone has a week or two where we all pull in the same positive direction and we move on (briefly). Repeat ad nauseum.
