not one person 'with money' has come forward and invest, salford rlfc is not exactly a gold mine and is not very attracting for someone to come in and spend a fortune and not even make it back

you say in the last bit that he needs to spend most of the money on players but I'm pretty sure he will spend all the money on players. That's what makes him such a good chairman. He seems to put all he has into the club.



As for asking him to step down.. What good will that do? You're assuming that there is someone with more cash willing to step in. It sounds like mr Wilkinson is doing everything he can and would step aside should someone come forward. You can't say fairer than that. Maybe his big mistake is continuing to employ simms and tarry.

It's not the likes of John Wilkinson who is stitching you up, it's the likes of Offiah and the other agents who are only in it to line their pockets. It's Offiah who has filled Mylers head with rubbish and advised him to move on, and if that's what he has decided to do then there's no point in trying to keep him at your club cos his heart will never be in it.

We need the agents to walk away from our game, not the likes of John Wilkinson.
