Funnily enough he isn't a mate of Simms but his agent is a big mate of Steve simms according to the MEN.
Must say I did think Matthew who when his name was read out on GMR hope yopur Mr Salford hasn't shot himself in the foot again but good luck time will tell.
It does seem that he was brought up in the Rugby Union rank so you never know he may get a duel coaching job when Sale arrive. |

Sorry but my enthusiasm for the new bloke has just dropped off - another mate or mate of a mate of Simms, lets be fair Simms was a coach and is a director of football (or whatever). I can understand Wilky listening to Wayne Bennett et al, but Simms?? I wouldn't even let him look after the car park. Sorry but the jury is out for me.

give the guy a chance michael mguire came over as an assistant. He aint going to be able to work is magic over night like everyone expects and he as worked with top coaches in the game. The club needs stability and now the coach is in he needs time to mold the team. Now come on the reds now get a win friday night and welcome the new coach knowing the quality is there and prove to the coach you warrent a reds shirt

This logo 'with the devil' was phased out about 5 years ago. I was told this was due to (Trish the Commercial Manager at the time) thinking the devil would frighten young kids.  |
