However, due to his rumoured 'misdemeanours' I don't think that the coach or players want him around the group anymore and, if true, not the type of person we want at our family orientated club. The togetherness and spirit being shown by the players on the field cannot be compromised by one man, better off gone. Great shame as he was starting to play some of his best rugby in a Cas shirt.

The first inaccurate post I have seen from you JGR, normally your spot on.



Paterson was leaving whatever division Leigh were in, his family where left high & dry with Visa issues and were on the verge of being deported (Marwan failed to cover the cost as agreed) and so he chose not to take up a second year option.



Hansen has asked for an early release because there are too many money concerns & dramas and Sheens cannot guarantee he will stay as he wants the Australia job. The club desperately do not want Hansen to go and have told him so, he has NOT signed for leigh.



Maitua was signing for Salford but they failed to pay him on his FIRST payday with the money they got transferred from Fev, he then chose to sign the Leigh contract.



Chase has been used as a scape goat even though he wasn't the only one to fail to come back early from pre-arranged leave because Salford NEED his large contract off the books quickly.



Every player Salford have approached for 2016 so far have declined to sign.

It's definitely not entirely true - Forster, G.Griffin and Sa'u all signed new deals, even if it was a couple of months ago.

Where did I say Paterson wasn't leaving regardless? When he signed, Leigh were flying and he as did many others expected them to be in Super League next season. The visa issues were sorted by Derek Beaumont (apparently) which is where the move to Leigh materialised from. Since it has become clear Leigh wont be in Super League, Paterson has sounded out the possibility of staying.



Maitua is signing for Leigh because he wants to play in easier games. He's 34 next season and the appetite for Super League isnt there, not with Leigh offering him a good contract either. This was the initial reason he signed for Fev last season too.



Sheens knows he isn't getting the Australia job.



I was told Hansen signed a contract with Leigh last Monday, time will tell who's right.



Tasi was also fined, but unlike Chase accepted his punishment. Rangi has been pushing his luck for a while and as I have mentioned numerous times, he has been pimping himself out to clubs since June.



PS - re every player Salford have thus far approached refusing to sign, also not true.
