As I remember. Wire were in some sort of pay dispute ,and they just rolled over.any other day they would have beaten Wakey.
We have hated the club [not the current players ever since.

4 of us went down friday night absolute brilliant weekend best team won on the day Hudds were shocking 2nd half. Credit to all the warrington fans that went to wembley must have been 40000 of them, they were everywhere in the ground

I'm still not seeing why people care about Morley lifting the Cup. Denis Betts is also a Salfordian who has lifted the CC trophy and nobody seems to give a damn about that. Neither of them played for us, unless you're a personal or family friend why care? |

The best team won, Warrington played well and had the tactics to win.
Morley lifting the trophy is as close a any Salfordian will get for a while yet.

did warrington win cause as far as I'm concerned we went on to win at the JJB (DW) stadium and blitzed Saints at Wembley this year.....anyone who tells me different is lying. Unless of course that was a proud Salfordian liftin' trophy!!!
