I have just been reading the manchester evening news and matt parrish wants a 2nd assistant coach. Some times you can have to many coaches do you think its a good idea or bad idea as we have alot of staff coaching now on are books anyway i am not keen on the idea. What do you make of this fans and how do you think it will benifit the team

I would be happy with another coach but obviously it depends who it is, personally from what ive seen so far matt parish seems as though his strong point will be defence so id like to see an attacking coach.

We already have an official second assistant coach until that contract runs out ,

Well it shouldn't be too 'long' before we find out one of the options.

Shaun Long would be another Bargepole type for me.



Don't know why but you always get the impression he's trouble waiting to happen.

I remember Andy Greg used to get on my T1ts when he played for Wigan , but he was probably one of the best motivational coaches we had in that 95-99 period .

Totally agree that quality half backs generally have an arrogant swagger about them.



His arrogance isn't the problem I have with Long - it's his selfishness and the fact that he's a complete t[size=1.[/sizewat.



I had similar (though lesser) concerns about Lowes when he came to us, but then that seemed to work out quite well all round, so maybe I'm wrong.

Talking of coaching staff, Malcom Alker is still on sick leave or does anyone know any different ?
