Due to the amazing scenes involving Ronnie O'Sullivan today I started to think, which is the hardest to achieve, a 147 break or a 9 dart finish.



Obviously there are more shots to complete a 147 break than darts thrown to complete a 9 dart finish so I sway towards the 147, but then I start to think that the targets in darts are so small with very little room for error.



I thought about including a golf hole in one but I believe this can be achieved by luck, by a novice or amateur whereas to complete the other 2 surely you have to be of a very very high standard.

9 Dart finish, due to the size of the target, and the fact that the size of the treble 20 is decreased every time a dart hits it.



147 is just too easy...

Must say I was expecting more of a split than we have so far. Only one person said 147 and in all honesty she thinks that is a bus from town. ( only joking )

9 dart finish for me , both great achievements but i like the reactions to a 9 darts finish everyone just goes crazy haha never been to a darts event yet but ive told me brother get us tickets to the darts at blackpool!

i'd go 147, the fact you have to think ahead, plus work out angles and speed.



I did a 12 dart finish once that's only 3 off, but my highest break is around 30 so for me 147.

id go for a 9 darter.



however winning the challenge cup then retaining it the following season takes some doing, you got to be good to do that.

Both very difficult really,

You cannot really comment until you have threw a dart,or potted a ball on a snooker table.

I get excited if i pot red and then a black,i would go with a 147 break in snooker just for the concentration levels alone but they are both great to watch.
