Just call it a PARADE, you will have one no matter, its another one of those wembley traditions. The lads get paraded even if been beaten 27 - 0 by wigoon.  It has to be open top bus, no point stickign the muckers on a frigin normal coach so they can wave through the sealed windows. The fans need to be able to lob scarves up on the top deck, and see the cup lifted high, or jsut see the players if no cup is won....
OPne top bus. Appearance at teh ground. Drive round town. Onto town hall, butties then onto panamas for a scuffle and a pint. |

Got to admit - starting threads with titles like this does look a tad over-confident and big-headed (whether it is or isn't, it gives the impression).
I certainly wouldn't blame any Hudds fans from resurrecting this thread if they win while lording it over all of us.

Agreed with that sir. Do WBC still own an open top bus? I'm sure I remember seeing one gathering rust at the back of the shed near Wilderspool the last time I was there... |

Borrow ours....funnily enaough pal, I was at Headingley last Firday to watch England try and play cricket, they didnt play to good by the way...anyways a wedding procession comes through the main street, open top double decker bus, I says to me pals "looks exactly like that one we use for wmebers home comings"..it pulls up at the side of us, and on the side is the st helens MBC signs... maybe there is a shortage of open toppers in the country... anyways, dont scratch it please, its older than ray french. |
