Coupled with the fact that we (Wigan) switched Deacon and Tommy to 9 and 7 respectivley.
Either way, you'll hope he's not out for to long, he's the lynch pin of your team, and you could suffer big time with him out.

incorrect the turning point came not from his injury but came at the point roughly the same time where Deacon switched with Leuleui with Deacon taking over at 9.
Regards his injury i would be very surprised if it was a break, but he will certainly have ligament damage which could be worse than a break regards time off, especially at his age.

| Definitely the turning point when Briers went off, and largely because our kicking game went to pieces! A lot of them were straight down the throat of the winger or full back giving them all the territory.

| We need him back, asap.
Whilst he's absent, we're looking at one of Grix & V.Anderson stepping into the halves really.
Please don't move Monas.

| Monaghan can play at 6 with Higham at no.9, this shouldnt cause too many problems.

Don't put him back in the halve at all cost, not least because he's quality at hooker, as he was last night.
I'd look at Grix or Vinnie as a better option at stand off. If Hicks was fit, Mathers even.

but monas is alot more effective at 9 than higham, like jwp say`s i can't see smith moving monas and we'll probably go with grix or vinnie at 6.
