I`d watch the game again, both Mathers and King let high kicks bounce on the floor where the ball could have ended up anywhere. I wouldn`t call that solid under the high ball.

iv been impressed with atkins so far he ain't really been in any try scoring opportunites as yet but from alot of restarts after a kick to touch he runs it in himself and usuallly drives the defence back

Our natural game staves Atkins and King of the ball. We always play to the right in attack with the odd kick to King when nothing is on down the right.

i'd still like to see them swap around. i think king is the better , but it look slike smith has brought atkins to play there. still needs work, but not too worried by it yet. i think the kick needs to be better utilised.it wasn't great either at cas or on saturday. i think when the understanding comes, and the pitches harden, i think we'll see both king and atkins make good yards

They are what they both are, powerful fellas who lack guile at times. They'll have their days when they are just too strong for people, but when you need to unlock a hole, they haven't the 'class' to do this.



What they've done is look solid, so it gives you a starting point. It's not so long ago we tried about 36 different combinations on the left edge and couldn't stop conceding through that channel.

The ball isn't getting there, Communication a few times between LA and Atkins just isn't there and Mylers being shut out very quickly with umbrella defence.

I'd like to see them play deeper and it will come in time.

I thought Atkins was one of your better players against us.



Don't forget that Maguire knows King pretty well.
