I never rated king at left centre. He couldn't pass that great. At right wing, he was good. Even so, not brilliant, not as good as Hicks or Joel IMHO

Shame Craig Bellamy overlooked this obvious flaw in his game for so long.

Who would say king is better than monas or hicks on the right wing. Instead of saying implying im wrong, just say it.

I thought Chris Hicks played on the right wing. When Matt King played on the wing it was on the left.

perhaps your right. Lol. Stood in the wrong Stand I think. Still he wasn't great at centre.

Hicks was at his best outside of Bridge. As is Monas now.

Now if KP is already at our partner club why can't we just take him on loan for a few matches & see how he shapes up back in SL before we put pen to paper ?



May be my mind is playing tricks ,but i seem to remember a great clamour among the fans on here to get rid of the lad the last time he was here.

that's kind of what id being done, only that wire have signed him to loan back to Swinton instead. To train him up as so thought.

Here is an interesting question; Will Penny count as 'club trained' for us, even though he left and was then re-signed ?

interesting question? I dunno, would it make any difference too?

I don't see why he wouldn't be counted as cub trained.
