It's a strange one and I can't quite work our why. Not like they have struggled against Wigan and Leeds. There seems to be a proverbial monkey on their back when it comes to us!

| They're not proper champions, they should be but they're not but that shouldn't detract from what has been a great season and a well deserved top place finish.
Well Done Huddersfield.

| Still a pretty boring team to watch though. Pleased for Ken Davey - well done.

Your opinion is shared by most; Huddersfield are not the best team in the comp (at least not yet) - does anybody think they are?
That's why we have play-offs - all the best teams going at it, in the most intense games - to determine the champions.

You may think that, but, that is not the reason that we have the play offs

| cheers guys, to be champions of super league im guessing we have to do something that we haven't managed to do in a few years, beat you lot!
so next time we play can you either
A) wear cherry and white
B) wear blue and amber
C) wear a red vee
any of those should suffice,
cheers

| Really pleased for Ken Davy, who is long overdue some return on all his expenditure, passion and time. I'm also delighted for Paul Anderson, nice to see a Brit coach doing well.
They still won't win the GF though.
This love-in people have with Brough ( and don't get me started on the comparisons with Briers) continues to slightly baffle me. Great kicking game (when he is afforded time), decent passing game and that's about it. That allied to a set of forwards who alternate between Frank Bruno and Frank Spencer depending on the opposition and I just can't see them doing it.

| You missed broughs brilliant running game. He can tackle a bit too. Not sure what else you expect from a 6 except run pass and kick. Unless your looking for a bad hair cut too. Briers has that one mastered

| On his day Brough is pretty close to the ideal scrum half. He just doesn't have too many of those days. Last time he played at his best against Wire the Giants won - in Cardiff at the Millenium Magic. Since then he has retreated into the ordinary when playing us. That's why I would worry about picking him for England. They used to accuse Briers of inconsistency but Brough has him beat in that department.

| So when Leeds win at Old Trafford how will we decide who the 'best team' was?
Its obviously not Leeds because how can you be champions when you only finish 4th.
Obviously not Huddersfield because we all know if everyone had been trying to win the league Hudds wouldn't have finished top.
Who are the rightful winners this season?

Why? So you can get a hard on by scoring points against someone because you think you are right?
