Would Penny have played if Hicks and King are fit? had a quick look at the end of training saw Higham kicking a few grubbers and doing abit of passing.

I don't wish an injury on anyone, especially our own. But I also wouldn't want him playing on the wing at Wembley. I mean, even his raw enthusiasm which I admire and which has often compensated for some of his flaws did him no good when he tried to do a Calderwood from a tap restart last friday!

Doubt he'd of played for you lot, but to give a young lad who gives 110% every game the stick he gets is nothing short of pathetic!



If he wasn't trying and was playing bad fair enough... but come on!

Shame for him just like Clarkey and Woody who miss out through injury. Doubt he'd have made the 17 if king and hicks are both fit though.

He wouldn't have got in the squad he isn't good enough ,but I agree you shouldn't be happy to see any player injured ,unless it's Crabtree or Hodgeson

Shame for the lad, makes you wonder whether events like "SL's fastest man" are really worth it. Probably not.



Interesting to see Geordie's post, although hypocrisy has been noted in his postings before now so hardly surprising.

I would like to echo that statement. Some people just like to pull this lad to bits and he is one of the nicest and honest young men, who deserves a break from the constant criticism....The lad will deveop and I hope he does really well and shuts some of the people up on here.
