I'll stand by any of my comments on here.

Maybe some of the Myler critics should remember this before they lay in to him.....is he really any worse than what we had before?

But he is certainly no better - didn't we pay Salford £200k to get him here?

I think that's the amount. The worst amount of money the club as spent in my eyes.

This is fair enough, but I dont think Sullivan (or any of the other crap half backs) lasted Four years, Monaghan didnt last four years before he was shuffled back to Hooker.



I'd Like To think he's under pressure from Smith, in the same way he droppped Briers in his first months in charge.



Lee Briers Was never a world Beater week in week out so Myler deserves a chance. I didnt Rate him early on but eventually came round to appreciating him, so if he has to spend a bit of time on the bench fair enough. I still remember his kick To Joel for the wembley opening try as a piece of Magic few players could produce. So I hope I dont get dragged back down into slagging him off.



If this is Monas' Last Season then I hope Myler and Ratchford (and Obrien) are still around, if the rumour of us getting Darryl Clarke are ever true, as that would set us up with a decent spine for a fair few years........

This time last year this board was full of Myler for GB and he was the best thing since sliced bread.

I've always thought he was not the right buy.



At the time Leneghan took over at Wigan it seemed a mini transfer fee revival was on between them and us.

Perhaps it was a knee jerk reaction on the part of Moran.



If he doesn't make a transition, like one or two say he should, to hooker, then I don't think we'll be extending his contract.



I'm very sure he can run from dummy half to great effectiveness but....

I cannot for one minute see him beefing up enough to bring down props running at him over and over.

I think he's a good halfback, I think he needs dropping purely as a wake up call, if he doesn't get dropped you're effectively saying 'you're doing nothing wrong carry on as you are'.



He's been dropped before and it had a good affect on him, seems time is good for helping you forget certain lessons.
