In the grand scheme of things, informing fans of injuries is probably the last thing on Tony Smith's mind. He doesn't have to tell us anything and personally, I'd rather not know. I find it quite bizarre that a player, who breaks an ankle during a game, goes to hospital the following day in a team mates car... only to find the ankle is broken and needs pinning.. it was probably around 20 hours between the injury and the hospital visit..
Is would appear, on the face of it, to be a very poor evaluation from the medical staff on match day.

Bad news that, hopefully he will return back to his best. I'd like to see Cooper brought back sooner rather than later, as we will miss Carvells go forward in the pack.

Gutted for you and Carvell, its a shame he seems to have picked up so many injuries throughout his career, cracking player but i think with a bit more luck on the injury front he could have been regarded as one of the best around.
