| Wigan would play at Wigan because they have a stadium that accommodates a game of that size.
Wire would need a similar size stadium and i doubt they'd want to play it in Wigan, i would guess something like Bolton or Goodison.
Hull at Hull
Leeds at Leeds or Elland Road
Catalans probably at Mille or if the RFL wanted it in England probably The Stoop.
Saints is the one i'm not sure about, probably at home.
Wakey and Hudds at Hudds

| As you are now the dominant force in the Super League, perhaps you should go down-under and give those Aussie rascals a damn good spanking in their own backyard.... GO WARRINGTON!!!!

| How can a team that didn't even finish top of their domestic table be considered contenders for "world champions" title?
It would be almost as embarrassing as the scousers claiming they were champions of Europe in 2005 when they weren't even the best team in Merseyside.

| Quote FireWire="FireWire"Without getting ahead of ourselves, does anyone know where this is scheduled to be held?
I know it's usually over here, but had heard something about perhaps switching the game Down Under, or perhaps to a neutral venue like Dubai. [size=200If[/size we do get there I would prefer a home tie, to give us more chance of equalling the mighty Widnes' one victory in the competition.
Also who would people like to play [size=200if[/size we get there? My preference would be South Sydney, although a Canterbury - Melbourne final appears to be on the cards.'"
For all the people getting a bit over-excited about this topic, the worst being fellow Warrington supporters rolling their eyes or panicking in case rival supporters see it. In all honesty, who cares if they do?
Now notice the highlighted words, and that this whole thread is about a hypothetical situation which may or may not arise. I was just enquiring about a likely venue, and who the majority would want to face IF we're involved.
Plus as someone mentioned earlier, there's nothing wrong with a bit of optimism every now and again.

| I don't even think it's optimism, Wire finished second in the league and won the challenge cup and are the best prepared team for the playoffs; in fact, if I was a bookie I'd make them favorites. Add to that the medium sized stadium that Warrington play in and the fact that they have not won the Grand Final before and a genuine question arises; where should it be played? Simple enough.
Fucking hell, teams that Warrington thoroughly trounce are always obsessed (looking at Wigan and Widnes fans here.)

| It will be great to see all those bitter Wigan and Saints fans, supporting the Aussie team, it will bring some cheer to them at last after a full off season of smug faced Wire fans going on and on about winning the Grand Final.
