| Quote Wire-in-the-blood="Wire-in-the-blood"I was wondering when this would come up. Did anyone at the game yesterday see where the projectiles came from? It's really disgraceful for anything to be thrown onto the pitch, but a flare's really dangerous. I noticed one got set off at the Magic Weekend during the Hull derby as well. Something as dangerous as that really should carry a heavy fine for the club and a lifetime ban for any fan caught with on.'"
Smoke bombs are not flares!
And apart from directly inhaling it or it being thrown at you, smoke bombs are pretty harmless. They use them a lot of paintballing and they're thrown about often landing right next to people.
Flares:
Smoke Bombs:
Even if someone responsible was holding it, flares aren't [ithat[/i dangerous. Just depends if it's being held by a numpty or not.

| Does anyone have the penalty count? Roby gave rather a lot in their favour.

| What about smoking cigs eh, whats worse with smoking a cig than a smoke bomb.
Remember when the Nazis banned us from lighting up at the stadium, is it any wonder they can't fill it? They might have had to build a new stand by now, if all the smokers hadn't stopped going.

Oh, not at all.
That's inexcusable.

I'm thinking it's dangerous because of the risk of panic if someone assumes there's a fire, as well as being a pain in the posterior and agitating the other crowd members. I know I wouldn't be happy if some numpty next to me let off a smoke bomb.
The RFL has a responsibility to prevent this sort of thing though and the only way I know of that works is by penalising clubs whose fans act in this way. It's not fair on everyone I know, but if it stops this sort of thing happening at other games, so much the better.

I have asked this of the Stone Island firm on here before, never had a proper answer. There was a couple set off at Wheldon Road last year, other than it stinking and most people heading straight out it was an utterly forgettable experience.
Could you really be bothered with the hassle?

13-6 in favour of Warrington, so yes, you have a point...oh wait.

| The ref. - Weaker than a vicar's handshake. He could have nipped HKR's spoiling tactics in the bud, but chose not to, and let them interfere for the full 80. Yesterday's game would have been a lot better for it.
HKR's fans - Must have really sore shoulder joints this morning, after all the frantic armwaving they were doing, after the several miscarriages of justice they were subjected to by Roby's performance. And they say Stefan Kiscko and Barry George had it tough.
Decent turnout from them, but I was expecting a following of the proportions Genesis had at the Circus Maximus in 2007.
Our tackling - At times it was 5h1te, going too high. But hey-ho, we only conceded one try. Good result considering their right edge cut through us a few times
Some v. good performances from Bridge and Currie (great try). More of the same, lads.
Players rested for CCSF, and we win. Ticks in both boxes.
Onwards, Wire

If you aint in the firm you wouldn't understand but its a way of showing you're a rebel if you aren't hard enough to actually merk someone and do time inside for it. Its like playing music loud on your mobile phone in a train carriage it shows I'm free, I do what I want and if you don't like it you can go and move to North Korea or summat cos this is a free country.
