| Makes me wonder what Leeds are doing getting rid of two very experienced forwards. I was expecting Mossop to sign for them.

Quote Paul Youane="Paul Youane"You might want to take this up with the Wigan club as well as they list Burke as a prop in his player profile.
Anyway call them props or utility forwards the Wigan robots like Burke and Tuson just do the same job with the same effect on their bodies.'"
Tuson wasn't overplayed as a youngster either.

| If Wigan had no regard for player welfare McIlorum would have played in the GF.as he wanted to. Shaun Wane must have been tempted but was advised by the medics not to play him
If Wigan are so reckless with players health surely such a pivotal player would have been picked.

Your right.
Shaun Wane must have the welfare of influential players at mind. Especially the ones that don't play for Wigan!

Yes very amusing. Always better to turn to humour when you have lost the argument.
Paul's hypothesis was that Wigan don't look after their props. He then cast about for evidence to prove it. There is no evidence beyond Paul Prescot's unlucky career. Prescot, by the way hardly played for Shaun Wane (I think he played about half a game). You can hardly make a theory stand up on one piece of evidence.
Wigan's medical support is second to none in Super League - it's why the national team use them on tour. Wigan look after their players as well as anyone can in a high contact sport as Micky McIlorum's non selection in the GF proved.

| Mac was given up to the eleventh hour to prove fitness or either that to keep sts guessing.
Over the years I can think of many high profile Wigan players who seemingly managed to unplug the life support machine and come out and play in a final and a couple of them end up getting the Lance todd!
Connally Radlinski Gregory Edwards Hanley..... shall I go on?

You forgot Blake Green.
Anyway - what's your point? Do Wire players never play through the pain? Because knowing Rugby League players - I doubt that very much.
I'm pretty certain that there has never been any lack of courage with your players, just as there wasn't with those mentioned above. It's just that they might have been more high profile at the time, so they spring to mind more easily.

Yes, please do. While you're at it name the Wire players that have similarly played through injury. Then make your point.

Biggest pile of crap I've read in a long time. Care to elaborate on this style that's so damaging to the Wigan props? Would it involve running the ball in? Tackling? What exactly is it that the Wigan front row (sorry...robots) do that your own props don't?
