I've almost gave up on predicting the team TS will put out because he often surprises us all & I end up getting it wrong.

I'm gutted to be leaving Gary out because he deserves a spot.

If it was up to me I'd keep Bridge out. As much as I love him as a player and his aggressive no nonsense attitude... Why upset the current team?

Because he is better than Myler and GOB.

I'll have to assume that you mean he is better than Myler and GOB in the 6 or 7 position. I completely disagree with you, and not for the first time. Bridge is now 30, and is a bloody good centre. He may have had a decent half a season as a half, but during his 10 years at the club it has been far from his best position.



I don't understand why a few good games promotes him above Myler and GOB. We have two halfs that are both at least 5 years away from their best rugby. Bridge lacks the brains and game awareness to ever control a game, he's a great centre though. Myler and GOB will never be great centres, so why would you compare them to Bridge?

But I welcome your opinion to disagree that Bridge doesn't play hb better than Myler or GOB. I've seen enough last season and sometime before that to stand by my answer.

I'm excited for this one. I usually find myself at home game frustrated and longing for the atmosphere of

Wilderspool, but hopefully this one will take me somewhere near this, playing an Aussie opposition under the flood lights with an excited crowd. A few headlines to stir the pot and hopefully a good bit of feeling in the game.



They'll come with a simple structure, right down the middle, so an extra forward on the bench for me.

Feel for Wheeler, played well in the first 2 games, but you might get away with plugging the second row with him against Salford, but I wouldn't fancy it against these.

Unfortunately I cannot see Widdop & Marshall being 2nd string to Myler & GOB.

A complete mismatch.



My hope is that our forwards get the upper hand defensively like they did in our opening SL games.



My fear is that if we don't, that when TS and Agar decided in a change of hb, be it Wheeler or Bridge, there will not be enough time left in the game to turn the scores around.

But if Myler & O'Brien do the unthinkable we will suddenly have a great half back pairing. Would have been good to see Lee Briers in his prime out there ,but alas .....

I really hope your right on that 9a.

I hope that having either or both Wheeler and Bridge either at 3 4 or 13 can add support to Myler & GOB and make them look world class.

I think Myler just might step up tomorrow.
