Bit harsh on a bloke in his testimonial year. Not into this Clarke bashing myself. I can see why some fans think he isn't what we need now but after 10 years loyal service and hard graft, personally I appreciate all he's done for us.

Not Clarke bashing, this was said tongue in cheek. Never been his biggest fan but he thoroughly deserved to get his winners medal at Wembley last year, fitting end to years of loyal service.

gotta agree with this. I have been left with a very sour taste in my mouth from some of these comments. The sad thing is, some of the people bashing him are people who witnessed Wire play absolutely poorly and remember when Clarke was a stand out player.



I have only watched wire with any interesting (recently) for the past 4 seasons-ish. No one I really knew was into the team apart from me.



Jon Clarke has always been a fixture of the team even when i was a little kid watching them at Wilderspool.



He probably won't be here next year. Could show a bit of respect for someone who is class through and through.

The vitriol directed towards Clarke has been disgraceful, from sections of our 'fans'.



The simple fact remains - he puts on a Wire jersey - he'll get my support.

I think were just looking for someone poor in the squad to pick on and clarke is first on the list!



for me he is probably just noticed for letting the other team in the game giving them penalties.
