Used to use Tayef for their mixed meat sandwich - then they had a bit of bad luck on the food inspector front and we stopped going.



Now frequent the Indian in Honiton Square - chilli chicken tikka massale, pilau and a keema nan - quality !

Can't believe no-one has mentioned the new 'Cinnamon' next to the Butchers in Sankey - excellent meals and they will pretty much cook what you want if you give them notice-and have been in a couple of times. Not going anwhere else at the mo, but yes Anmol is good and nice guys in there as well



For a 'sit down' nothing beats the 'Saffron' in Cheetham Hill High St (I know not Warrington, but well worth the travel).

Its in the old Council offices, buffet style, but is always being topped up, and food is very fresh.You get a lot of Asians in there, so thats always a good recommendation.

Very much more 'home cooking' style rather than your typical 'Indian' (though vast majority are Bangladeshi's rather than Indian).

Think its still only a Tenner at night, eat what you want, only a fiver at lunchtime - well worth it.

Thats The Bilash, they do take aways and have really nice food

i went to a Brazilian restaurant, it's just a load of different meats. Good but not very varied

Akbars or East Z East in Manchester are the best curry houses around for me. The best one in Warri was Tamarind table but it's sadly no longer there.

The Cinnamon Lounge is fantastic since the re-badge, really good food.



I defy anyone to sit properly on that massive chaise longue and look cool, though.

Akbhars and EastzEast are poor imo. They are mass producers of the good stuff so all their curries are made from the same base mix, so its rare you actually get what you are looking for.



Rusholme is hit and miss, and many people are put off by the pure filthly standards of some of the restaurants and facilities. However, some are purely excellent in terms of taste, and I can personally recommend Al Nawaaz.



The Bayleaf in Padgate started off really well, then had a major dip in food quality but for the past 6 months its been truly A1.

Yarana Pagate, they deliver, order the ChickenPakoras, best in town!!!!!

Had one from there last Friday....."Through the eye-of-a-needle" for Two days!!!
