In the unlikely event that someone is interested it stands for "Loyal Orange Order." 862 is the number of the lodge which is probably based in Bangor given the man on the drum. William Johnston was a famous orange man who lead protests against the Party Processions Act of 1850 which sought to ban orange marches, hence his status in the orange order. |
