Simple solution to the lack of atmosphere: join in the songs that are started.

i dont think the stewards at the hj help! talk about being over zealous!and dont get me started about the yellow lines

Not been the same since Geordie hung up his drum.

The Orange Stewards are intimidating for ever looking up in SS pointing & whispering. The big brother voice telling the kids to get off the metal stantions is scary although needs to be said. Why not put notices on them, the stantions not the kids.

Funny thing was today it was like the tables had been turned since the early 2000s. Back then we generally won the game on the field but our supporters were pretty muted, some might say we'd got too used to winning. I remember Wire fans singing their hearts out no matter what the result and really raising the roof.



It was the other way around today.

Indeed when you start winning majority of your games you start expecting rather than hoping so you don't get the same atmosphere( At home anyway).

Not got to the point where they are playing recorded crowd sounds on the pa system at the HJ.

The music played is far too loud and intimidating.Can someone come up with a decent song that we can all sing and be proud to do so?. Perhaps organise a competition to produce one. Mind you I hear Gary Barlow is a Wire. Can Simon Moran persuade him to contribute?

Barlow's a Tory from Frodsham.....More likely that he's a Union fan, than a Wire.....Yes, he's friends with Simon Moran and even been pictured alongside the Challange Cup in 2010, but it probably had more to do with being in London at the same time as the final was on, and he simply fancied a few drinks with his mate, Simon....





Also, his music is shockingly bland and wouldn't be suited to a rugby terrace....

The expectation is so much higher now and were used to walking over teams...

Isn't it about time someone got some new chants going instead of the Warri, Warri we only ever seem to here...
