As quoted, McBanana said it was because of his arduous season at St Helens. He [ihas[/i had an arduous season at St Helens. He and Roby were two of only three Saints players to have not missed a game all season, and he was on international duty last year, and the year before. It wouldn't surprise me that after the shambles that was our Grand Final performance, he's utterly knackered. Roby didn't look his usual sparkling self either although (as always) he did nothing wrong and gave it everything he had.
Other clubs' fans can laugh at Jammer all they want but when he's not knackered or sick of carrying his team when half of them are out injured or can't be bothered putting in a performance, he is one of the best prop forwards in British RL. Surely we all want our best players in their respective positions to be representing us down under? |
