| A win against Doncaster would put us at least 9 points clear of third spot, we have 3 away games after Sunday so get down to LSV in numbers and shout this amazing team on again, it will be June before you get another chance at home
Its first v Joint second in the table, and your support could be vital again.

| Totally agree. 9 points advantage on 3rd place is a huge cushion. If we assume that we get a bonus point from games that we lose then that is a 4.5 game cushion.
By the way, has anyone seen it officially confirmed that it is league positions rather than play off positions that determine the allocation of prize money? I read the RFL's doc and it did not leap out at me as to which was true.

| Have you that from an official source, or can you provide a link? I haven't been able to find one.

| Quote Sky Sports="Sky Sports"The RFL is increasing the central funding to Championship clubs to enable them to compete with the teams from the Super League but Aston says the odds are stacked against the part-timers.
It is thought the top two clubs in this year's Championship will receive £500,000 and £450,000 respectively, with the pay-out dropping to £200,000 for the third and fourth-placed sides, £175,000 for fifth and sixth and £150,000 for the rest.'"

I'd take that as official. Its too widely reported in the press and it's clearly what the BOM expect if we finish in top two.

| All the championship clubs (except Batley) voted for it to be based on league positions.
The correct decision for me.

| Every game we play is a huge game , as our run continues its gets more important , I personally feel Donny could come up against a very determind Leigh team on Sunday , depending on the condition of the Pitch im going for a score of Leigh 46 v Donny 16 ,lets keep showing the boys we care .Cmon Leythers .

You mean this bit....
It is thought the top two clubs in this year's Championship will receive £500,000 and £450,000 respectively, with the pay-out dropping to £200,000 for the third and fourth-placed sides, £175,000 for fifth and sixth and £150,000 for the rest. ????
Seems straightforward, but you can allocate places 1-6 from the playoff system as well can't you?
Anyway, thanks for the info.

| The year the Dons got promoted from Championship 1 it was official whoever finished top was the Champions. Right up until the last game of the season when it changed to whoever won the play offs. I agree you're probably right, but I wouldn't be happy until the money is in the pocket!
On the game, the Dons have been awful for large periods of the game the last couple of weeks and after 3 games in a row of giving teams a big start (20 points v Sheffield, 16 v Barrow, 24 v Whitehaven) we finally got caught out and missed out on the comeback at Haven. I don't think we can do that against your lot either. Our objective this year has always been #MakeThe8, our start has just been a bonus. I'd take the bonus point now.
In fact, you should probably rest everyone and take it easy...or something

| A huge game for both clubs, if Donny lose then a couple more and they would be in the pack scrapping for the nine, Cook has a history of causing us problems
I expect a fast open game especially as I am doing the meal
