Hmmm, don't know much about how he works as CEO but got the impression that while he did a good job at Hilton Park, where he could lay the law down and do what he wanted it lead to problems when we moved to LSV & that couldn't happen; which was why we got off to a bit of a bad start with LSV. Still he's shown many times before how passionate he is about the club & he seems to have done a good job in the past so I'm sure he'll lead us to success especially now things are going so well, must make the job easier.

I hope it is true. Why wouldnt you want Allan at the helm of the business? Hes been in the game pretty much all his life worked at other major RU and SL clubs, and has stated above he is a true Leyther. His contact base in this area and beyond is second to none. I have known Allan nearly 21 years now having first met him on work experience from high school in 1994, great guy and you wont find anyone more passionate about this great club.
Interesting to note that some of the less pleasant comments above also had similar opinions about Paul when he was appointed head coach, look what happened there!!

Exactly Ste. Who else would people like as their CEO. Someone with no connection to the club, town or fans. Alan gets my vote every time. Cut him open and you will see Leigh right through him. |

In a kinda related way (didn't want to start a separate thread).
Is there a minimum figure we need in terms of average gates to ensure we break even (previous years it was mentioned we needed to average for example 1,800 to break even) or has the money coming in from the new structure meant this is of less concern than in previous seasons?
