I think it's absolutely right that the big cash is awarded to the two clubs who finish first and second in the league rather than in the play offs. It would just be wrong to do it any other way. I would still think the same if we weren't at the top of the table (and we weren't so crap in play offs).





Also, it's going to make a great end to the season to watch those in the bottom half of the table fight it out to make sure they're not one of the five who are relegated.



This season has been a cracker up to now and it's only going to get better, especially as everyone seems capable of beating everyone else (apart from us that is). Bring it on.

Absolutely right about the money going to the top 2 in the league, not fair to be consistently the best team all year then loose out based on an unlucky 80 min. Still not convinced on 5 being relegated though, 10th placed team should have had to play top of C1 to see who's in the Championship next year (think 10th place Championship team will be better than 1st placed C1, whoever is promoted will probably struggle and go straight back down).



As for Sunday it's yet another very important game, followed by another very important game the week after away at Sheffield! If we can win both of those then that really puts us in prime position having beaten everyone that's likely to challenge us.

Isn't it getting a tad repetitive these 'big game' threads, aren't they all? Asking supporters to support is a bit obvious.

They are all big games this season because of the top two cash prize and 5 being relegated. However, some games are effectively 6 pointers for us so they are even more important. If we were to lose to Barrow, although embarrassing, it wouldn't matter as much as losing to Fev, Sheffield etc.

Yes because we don't want to keep the momentum going...........

FWIW all games are huge this season and all as important

Each game we go unbeaten, the next gets that little bit harder. All teams want to be the first to break our sequence.

No harm in a director talking up the game, in an attempt to market it.

Fair enough but I doubt it needs marketing to the membership of this forum.
