Thanks Frankie, not always someone agrees with me, im very happy with our Forwards, i like the dual contract players, it seems to have inspired Armistead, JT, AND Magraff, im happy with Alstead when he decides to take the defence on ,as he can run and finish, i just feel we are lacking on the other wing at the moment , in Speed ,and size.

Blyth can be recalled at a moments notice and therein lies the problem, we have no plan B, a good centre can also play wing, the reverse isnt the case.

Im hoping Blythe stays all season Fred , and at a push i would sooner have Maden at centre, not for me to tell Basil his job ,he knows best , but i feel we still need a big fast Winger, and according to the latest Braddy and Basil , our Gaffer thinks along the same lines about Speed.

Didnt see the picture in the programme but cant see John McVay being on it, Huddart signed for saints late 50's and a young John McVay was signed from Haven some time in Nov 66. As for Joe Hoskings I thought he retired before Tenby started but I might be wrong on that one, think he left leigh in 62-63, joining in Aug 1955, not sure he played for Haven though i think he came from Workington amateur rugby so the dates for Huddard Hosking and Tenby would not match
