Conflicts of interest - perceived or real - are never a good thing. However, Fred has actually attempted to answer the question (thanks Fred) - and it looks like Rowley Snr is not CEO after all, more like a COO. I've actually not got anything against Rowley Snr (or Jnr for that matter) other than some ill-advised rants that we all remember - like anybody else they have to be judged on results.

And Paul's results are he's arguably the best coach in this country.



Maybe when SL elite clubs come calling having his Dad on board may just help to keep him....

As for the statement you refer to that Allan made, was he right?? Yes of course he was and that statement didn't do us any harm in fact right now it's probably helping in more ways than you can imagine!

Cutting aside all the SL, Championship BS we are essentially a second division side still so if winning the second division makes you the best coach in the country then Darren Abram must have been the Messiah as he got us to SL and chucked in a NRC cup along the way also.........



Paul is improving year on year and doing a fantastic job and is a very promising young British coach but the big challenges are all still all in front of him yet and he knows that im sure.

I think any true Leigh fan is uncomfortable about the number of times we have looked down the barrel of administration / bankruptcy and to be fair the current situation with the restructuring of the leagues expose us to that once again.

However Derek and his team are in the position of deciding the clubs immediate destiny and they will take up the challenge as they see fit.

Paul is also embarking on the biggest challenge of his coaching life and will need the support of everyone to achieve.



If Allan is declared as CEO I am not sure if he is the correct person to give Paul support -- after all whoever listened to their dad's advice





Seriously anyone who gives their time to the club should be applauded,we all would operate in different ways but would all want the same outcome.

Did Darren arrive at pre season with no coaching staff and a dozen players at best?

No sign of a "in my opinion" or "personally I believe" etc. it was yet another bold statement which factually cant be supported.



Just to be clear here. I'm not disputing Pauls capabilities or achievements nor am I stating one is better than the other as who am I to judge. I was questioning your statement and applying your logic to Darren Abram having (On Paper) so far achieved more than the current coach then he must using your logic be a messiah in RL coaching terms if Paul is you say "arguably the best coach in this country" surely???.
