On the subject of the referee, I thought he actually had a pretty good game, bar the kneeing incident and, to our benefit, being rather generous with his cards after the brawl late on.

Team played good rugby and deserved the win. Some of your fans, abuse towards the families visiting from Keighley
was out of order. Don't expect Super League entry until you sort them out. They do you no favours.

I heard some verbals between a couple of fans which wasn't pleasent but it was between Keighley and Leigh fans. I don't know who instigated it, but I have seen our fan get into a similar verbal spat at 2 other away games this season. I didn't hear anything racist myself.
An old guy in front of me was wingeing about the noise we were making but I take that as a backhanded compliment tbh.
What I will say is that MICKY1920 was filming the game from the end Keighley were attacking in each half. So in the first half he may well have recorded anything said around the time of the Jermaine Wray incident from the North terrace.

To a certain extent I agree, the odd bit of profanity I can understand, it's a passionate game. Many spectator sports evolved because it was a place where the working class man could let off some steam after a weeks graft.
When the profanity is aimed at other people in the stands it becomes abuse, which should not be tolerated.
What I saw crossed that line between profanity and abuse. I can fully understand why MICKY1920 is annoyed about it, his daughter, amongst other even younger kids, were sat a few yards away from where I was in the West Stand and no kid should have to hear what was said then. |

We always sit in the west stand and never hear anything un towards and i reckon its pick on Leigh time each club has its turn but if there is anything in it i do hope it will get sorted and quickly.

| A point of curiosity, about the game yesterday. Why, when two of our 'play-makers' - Ridyard and Duffy - were taken off, did Robbie Paul get moved to full back? That, in my view, contributed to the disappointing final ten minutes, when we could have been piling it on. Surely, Maden or Alstead to full back would have worked better, leaving at least one 'play-maker' where he was needed? Robbie didn't look very happy with the move, and seemed to be complaining to Rowley! (unless he wanted to come off, too!  ) |

The above video shows incident in which Wray collided with a Leigh player on the ground.
In my view it was belief this was the reason for Jamaine being subject of abuse and it was not racial abuse, just
fans who believed Wray had taken a cheap shot.
I think two players were totally committed to the ball and one went to ground and turned his back whilst he had forward momentum. If you check the replay, Wray was attempted to slow down when the collision occurred and I think having watched prior to incident, I don't see any reason for this to have been anything other than an accident. I think the ref was spot on with his decision.
