Out of interest, what were the problems that you had with the stewards and how recently did it happen?

It was at at the "friendly" against Wigan. I was literally assaulted (a policeman asked me if I wished to make a formal complaint against the steward in question but as he(the steward) was very indimidating I felt that discretion was the better better part of valour!). Let me also say that the steward in question was backed up to to hilt by the head steward and other stewards none of which had in fact witnessed the incident in question. There are undoubtedly SOME very good stewards at LSV but there are also a number who are frankly a disgrace and the club needs to ensure that they are rooted out. I however live in hope rather than expectation.

Does she go to away matches ?

why, they have no control over the stewards, its for the LSV management to do the apologising. As i see it all the club can do is bring the LSV to book for THEIR staff allegedly abusing one if the clubs long time supporters.



Other than that i don't think there owt else they can do.

Wrong.....all forms of cameras aint allowed according to the stewards in the west stand, last season a group of teenage girls from another club were taking pics of each other near to were I was sat and were not doin owt wrong - 1 of the jobs worth stewards come over and told em to stop as it wasnt allowed inside the stadium for health and safety reasons, also that they LSV didnt allow it in case people take pics of kids.



Its about time that this stupid rule was stopped.

yes the stewards are okay except when they are really needed like when we played halifax and then they were nowhere to be seen

Does no-one ever send nice letters about Leigh RLFC, YES, but that's not interesting.

I can't argue with you on that one.

She pays her money to Leigh and its Leighs responsibility to ensure he has a safe and enjoyable time. Its upto Leigh to challenge the management company as they have paid them for their services.

If she wants to stand she should go in the North Stand!! The seats are there for a reason. Sit down, watch the game and stop trying to find a reason to have a dig at the club. We play in a modern stadium that has health and safety rules. Every other "new" stadium is the same get over it or push off, the team and club doesn't need or want all this negativity.

The steward has created the negativity, something Leigh should address, you are right the fans who have any little gripe should push off. I stood up all game alst week at old trafford and was never asked once to sit down.



They are ways to talk to people to address issues and the woman is airing her feelings as she feels she was verbally abused. How is the view from your high horse anyway?
