It would be great to sign him, i think a move to cas would be unwise. Do people think he is actually ready for sl? I reckon another season or 2 with us, learning his trade but benefit him enormousy imo. Also if we did sign him, then NO stupid sl release clayses. By doing that it would show loyalty from the player, and more importantly, when the inevitable happens and he is sold, we get some money, instead of losing our good young uns for nowt. Fax have just re_signed murrell on a 3 year deal, with no sl clause.

It isn't very professional of you as a chairperson of a professional Rugby League team to keep trading banter in this way with fans. It doesn't portray Leigh RLFC in a professional light.

As an aside, what is your definition of 'professional'? I think it's about doing your job to a high standard. You seem to think its about distancing yourself from people.



I'm happy to know that we've got [ipeople[/i running the club, because if there's anything to learn since the great financial crash of 2008, it's that we can't assume that 'professionals' have any idea what they're doing.

To be honest reading some of your comments on here with all the offensive 'plastic leyther' accusations, you don't IMO give a very good view of the company you represent either WYSIWYG.

I never thought I'd say this but to an extent I agree with Wyggy on this. Michael I don't Wyggy thinks being professional means distancing yourself from people, but rather looking at the facts, and debating the point using his knowledge and experience in a persuasive manner. As opposed to calling people names and sing behind his hand because he knows how to press a button that ignores anyone he doesn't agree with.

This club is where it is, some of us want to help move it forward others kill it, I want a club I have watched from being 5 with many of my family who are no longer here to become better not die, which seems to be his goal and yours. Cryer posts a lot of contract stuff about Leigh players, he even told us what saints had offered Hopkins in one

Cryer64 or PNE it just shows you why a chairperson or director or anyone associated with the club in an official capacity is better staying off the MB. It is so unprofessional. As I stated in a previous post, it sets a precedent for the playing/coaching staff, thankfully they are too professional to do that.

fact is he is not good enough all round for Super league....great in broken play / backing up but kicking game and defence well below SL standard. He would get absolutely pulverised......that's not knocking the kid he's a decent Championship player who has an eye for an opening........maybe in the future I don't know.....for now no way
