I would imagine as it's because they are a business like any other who need to generate income and cover operating costs on a facility that isn't merely a RL stadium but a multi purpose/ use facility?



Had Swinton and ourselves been out of cup would be they be expected not to be open for business?

The real question is not about Featherstone and their attitude to Fridays it is why the LSV have given priority to Swinton, if it is because the LSV have allowed somebody to book a 'small' function on a Sunday during the season then someone should be sacked. I wonder if the LSV management have been caight with their pants down because they didn't expect Leigh or Swinton to be still in the Challenge Cup.

If Fev don't want to come on a Friday evening, it makes their coach's job very easy to get his lads fired up to 'make us pay'. I can't count the number of times this backward thinking has come back to bite us on the bum.



Of course that doesn't mean we shouldn't play on the Friday but don't trot out the old ' because they don't like it' garbage.

Yes they're a business but surely it's not too much to ask of them to 'hold' the Challenge Cup 5th round Sunday in case one (or two) of their two RL clubs get a home tie.



If you ask me it shows a complete disrespect to both ourselves and Swinton.

I also make you realise that the fact that it is in Leigh doesn't mean that the Centurions won't be kicked out if the business gets a better offer.

Leigh Centurions have NO say in how the Wigan Sports Village operates.

Well its no secret i HATE friday night rl. Will i be present if we reluctantly have to play fev on a fri, of course i will, will i be happy, no way. So swinton can play on a sundy, cos their small crowd wont impact on this function, i think all fans who hate fri rl should make the effort to swell the swinton/keighley gate, i know i will go to that game. It looks like to me, even if swunton had not been drawn at hone, we still would not of been able to use the lsv.

Agreed - not for the first time has LRFC been disadvantaged by the LSV booking arrangements on 'match day Sunday' or Swinton getting 'first footing' - stinks to me. Lets hope no game plans are made available to Fev on whatever day (or night) they say we have to play
