Does anyone know why 7:30pm KO was chosen instead of 8pm? Thursdays I know why of course.

I've got to say that I'm a bit discouraged by the amount in interest in last nights fans forum.



The presentations were very good, the news was great and considering the position we were in this time last year, I think the club has exceeded all our expectations, however.... there was about 80 people at the forum and only about 36 people listening in on the Leighlife broadcast, so why isn't anyone interested in hearing about the good news?



Is the problem that we have nothing really to moan about? The lads are playing great, the club is being run better than it's ever been before, the communication with/from the club has never been better and we're in a great position to move the club forward....yet no one seems that interested.



I think it's very worrying.

Should we make the grand final there will be a buzz again.

We need a good result Friday and then win the last two games, go up to Fev and win, dont try and get the home game because weve never won a playoff game at home for a long long time, the money we can make off getting to the final will compensate for the loss of that home game.

As for playing at 7.30 instead of 8, only thing, I could think, is perhaps to inconveniance Fax(Their team I mean), just a thought.

Great news on the club turning themselves around.



On the dual thing,I think all championship clubs should boycott signing these players,if they want us to take there kids it should be a season long loan,that way clubs know were they stand and to the general public it does not look like we are some sort of reserve league were your expected to pay top dollar to watch.



The championship club need to group together and throw out this pointless contract with premiersports[if super league can dump the silly truck sponsorship we can dump this nonsense they also need to push for promotion and relegation on a yearly basis.



As mish mentioned she was disappointed by the turn out,the truth is everyone see the season as a group of pointless friendlies with the above points of no p and r and the duals being dragged back and forth seriously undermines our comp and sport.



The clubs needs to spear head the championship clubs to demand what the next 3-5 years holds for clubs like leigh and fev and get answers from the rfl and not adopt the policy of keep our heads down and they may invite us in



If they can get some sort of gaurantee of a possible promotion in 2013 or at least 2014 the club can use that as target to get the fans behind and believe in,as me like most cynics who watch leigh and lost all faith in our sport and really fear for the direction it going in

This is the biggest hurdle the club have to overcome. They have seen it in the attendances over the past few years. There is apathy in Leigh when it comes to Leigh Centurions. Overcoming that apathy (which is growing year on year) is the biggest challenge that this club has ever had. 30 years ago 80% of population of the town would have been able to name at least one member of the team. I bet that figure now would be less than 10% of the population of the town.

How many would normally attend Mish? It may just be with such a long gap since we last played at home that fans forgot about it.

I don't, I wouldn't pay £200 for a season ticket if I did.

Thirty years ago, in 1982, we had just won the Div 1 Championship so I reckon almost everyone would have been able to name Woody or Des!!!!!

I'm not entirely sure how many people were at the first fans forum Glow (when we were in serious trouble and in danger of going to the wall) but the room was packed out and we had almost 100 listening in online.
