I think Paul Rowley would be chuffed to death that only one person thinks he's the wrong man for the job. I reckon that's pretty good and doubt he'd lose any sleep over Mooke's ramblings.

I asked him this before and, after dismissing the three names he came up with, he has not told me who the messiah is. He's whinging and moaning about us having the 'wrong coach' but doesn't know who the 'right' one is.

When I consider the fact that Paul was handed a team not of his making and worked with them to make them his team and then delivered us into 2nd place, with a impressive points difference, indicating we could score and defend (the numbers speak for themselves).

All of this he did, after being a last minute appointment (Credit to the board for grasping the nettle on that decision), with a team, that quite frankly nearly disapeared, and in his first real opportunity to show his metal, it is an incredible feat, not only because of the starting point of the club, but also because of his lack of experience and limited resources.

Mr Rowley, I for one take my hat off to you, and look forward to congratulating you personally and thanking you personally for the work you, and your team, have done for not only keeping Leigh alive, but also for the work you are going to do... I for one BeLEIGHve... And I beLEIGHve Paul Rowley can take us there.

So in conclusion, this post is 12 months out of date, the time for a proper coach came, we waited, we wondered and we got Paul, and if he isn't a proper coach, then I for one doesn't know what a proper coach is, I'm glad to have him and feel confident that next season he'll be able to takes us that bit further and make us that bit better...

I wonder what the kno(bs)ckers will complain about then?
