Theres a big difference in meaning in Wigan tell us who we have to play and Wigan tell us who is available. It has been said ad infinitum Paul will not play someone who will not improve thw side that particular day.



If they have stayed away because of no P&R that has helped to put the club they love at a disadvantage now P&R may return in 2015.

I don't believe I can change P&R, but raise it since this is the biggest reason I and many others have had less interest in RL over the last few seasons. I know there's nothing you can do about directly but it's part of the massive obstacle you have in trying to get people back.

Wembley is completely different, of course there were thousands of Leythers there who'd never been to a game beofre in their lives and have probably never been since, but you can't compare that to the GF in Widnes. Of the 6000 at Widnes I'm sure a large proportion of those could be persuaded to watch under the right circumstances.

I am in the lifeline and have been since it started. I've also been to the last 2 homes games, as my love of Leigh has overcome my dislike of us playing Wigan reserves, so don't preach to me about money. I may not be able to make the investment the BoM are able to make, but that doesn't make me any less entitled to an opinion or make me out to harm the club.

Incidently, I believe Wigan effectively do tell us who to play since they tell us who they have available and we play them.

You can help leigh get into SL by being part of the club which you have again started to do, that gets my respect plus lottery

We can only change what we can impact on and finance will restrict those options hence not supporting the club could exclude us from promotion or having the option of DR etc

Paul Rowley chooses his squad nobody else!



Wigan offer us a selection of u24s players and he chooses who if any he wants to add value to our team.



When the RFL brought in the rules on Duals only being allowed from One "Partner Club" other SL clubs in our area had already signed and agreed partnerships and we were trying to avoid having any according to the "Facts" I have seen in minutes from meetings prior to the BOM takiing over which Steve Openshaw will verify.



When things transpired against the club I.e cancelled friendlies, lower than expected attendances coupled with injuries to key personel and big signings I.e Aspy, Paul and the management at the time had no choice.



I've stood on the terraces and sang the songs and booed Wigan and trust me it's under consideration I've discussed it only tonight with Steve Openshaw who like me is a leyther and proud. If we can make it work for the club as whole we will get rid of DR and the Wigan link gladly but lets be clear we have respect for Wigan and a good relationship behind the scenes and the reality is until we get another 400/500 fans per game in the stadium week in week out then we need it far more than Wigan do!!!!



Just 400 paying fans more per game would mean five more squad members on contract for Rowls and more fiance to put towards our youth.



Regards our own 20s we often use trailists they can come from Wigan to Wath Brow and on occasions have to use them due to injuries.



What really winds Steve and our staff up is when we/I read people saying get James Hill for example in the team when in reality he has moved south for work reasons Steve and Paul inform me, great shame but reality of semi professional sport and the door is always open for him and he's welcome back.



Ive stood on terraces and had my doubts and wondered what goes on thats why i come on here to give my fellow leythers a view and to try amd communicate with you. Reality is lack of P&R has effected the game, the RFL are addressing this for 2015 but we need to kick on and be ready or P&R will be irrelevant anyway.



In summary cutting aside bitter twisted individuals the majority of people appreciate what we are trying to do and we are we're we are and are lucky to have a team as had we not stepped in there most likely would not have been a team to support by now let alone a final to look forward to.



The BOM are assessing the big picture and leaving no stone unturned rest assured and plans are being put in place to move the club forward and are fully committed as a team to deliver for the people of Leigh. Keith and Trevor held the club together with a shoe string and the BOM have picked up the club now but need fans current and old to support us and help us show the RFL that we are strong enough as a town, team and wider community to be we're we all want to be so please join us and get behind us we can't do it alone!!!



Not turning up does not help anyone, the BOM are leythers just like everyone else it's not our club it's the fans club and the towns team we are simply custodians of it trying hard to get us to we're we all want to be so please join us!!!

So now SL is shrinking I presume Ryan knows he is better off staying at a club where the fans want him and not bother commuting to Castleford every day ?
