Noticed at Keighley last Sunday that under 16's were free. I got my free tickets in the 50's from Mrs Palmer at the Council School, it's kept me coming ever since.



Told today that one company had joined the scheme, hopefully companies like Widdows Mason and Leighton Packaging will soon follow them to set an example to other local companies

We've just had a re brand done by o, Neills so that why the potters have been delayed, they should be ready anytime now.

The new cover for tonight's programme is an example of the new 'brand' to be used on the posters. (although the text on the posters will be more high profile) Would be inetrested to hear what people think.

Certainly packed them in at Keighley that offer.



I would have assumed all Directors would have led by example where the business scheme was concerned.

Free tickets for school children will work. They are the future of the club and we should be doing our best to encourage them to attend. Another obvious solution is to move the games to Saturday 5:30sh. The older children are then able to get to LSV on public transport. Public transport is rubbish on Sundays.



However, with no possibility of getting into the top league we are just playing friendly games and there is no real possibility of increasing the gates until the RFL see sense and bring P&R back. Who wants to pay £16-£18 to watch a friendly game except for die hard supporters. This has always been the agenda of SL and unfortunately the Championship will be dead within the next few years if P&R isn't reinstated.

Thats why we have to get out of it, we have a great opportunity at the next licence fiasco - we are the best placed - it would be a pity to blow it.

So are you suggested die hards are stupid for attending to watch us try and win the two trophies that are available to us. Or maybe we just want to ensure there is a club in Leigh when the barriers do come down. Because if crowds do keep dropping and non attendance being blamed partly on the RFL for what they are allowing to happen then we will not exist in 2015 no matter what the club tries to do.

We must stop confusing crowds with income, they are only relevant if crowds are the only income. We must start looking outside the cocoon we are in to generate income

no matter what the club does or tries you will always get some folk wanting more , they are the Neros of this world , most who dont come to games and post on here are ex Fans who have fallen out with ths club for some reason .



You wouldnt get some to matches if the club was offering a Chauffer driven service door to door , its not going to happen how many youngsters who havent seen a game read this Forum?NONE.



For me a message to ALL lapsed supporters should be , Cmon please turn up again , or we wont have a club to support , then all the "I told ya so " people will be in their element , we do need new fans , but we need the Lapsed fans more , supporting the Club , not knocking it .

it beats me why Trevor and Keith Freer carry on , when you have ALL the Answers .Its not Soothsayers or Philosophers we need its Supporters .
