What a conversion today from the big lad!! He was getting a right load of abuse from the Fev fans throughout the game and to block it all out at the end to convert from the touchline was a superb effort. Not a bad last try either!! Well done Mick!

. I cursed the day Leigh signed him but his past record can't be grumbled at and I can't imagine a Leigh team without him in it now. Keep up the good work, I'd love to see his points average per game throughout his career.



On a side note, our very 'own' Ian Mort equalled Mick's points scoring record in a game for the Swinton club last weekend (who they also hold with Gavin Dodd) and I wouldn't back against Morty surpassing Lee Marsh's Swinton record of points in a season in 2011.
