Just back from the game.



Absolutely no way was that an 18 point ball game. A good performance by Sts but constantly off side and more forward passes than the New England Patriots.



I thought Alibert was absolutely shocking.



I presume he isn't allowed to ref the Catalans game.



All in all

According to Radio Yorkshire and Radio Merseyside the ref had a good game and was spot on with his judgement of forward passes both for Hudds and Saints. In this game of ours you take your chances when they are given - you didn't and we did.

The ref can't stop you getting over the line. I had radio on which said saints controlled the game from the first min.

Never minds Giants. We'll try to arrange Ian Smith to ref next time. That house will get you over the line...

Hudds will be there or thereabouts at the end of the season.

Must admit I was worried about this game beforehand but that was probably our best display this season.

Refs fault AGAIN?? Just take it, you lost

Saints played well we didn't. No there probably wasn't 18 points between the two sides but I don't imagine Nathan Brown will be too happy about our defence for several of the Saints tries. You can't let Saints have a 10 point start especially not in those conditions and if you're going to spurn as many chances as we did.



Thought Raleigh had probably his best game of the season today and Brown probably his worst. Was also impressed with Wheeler for Saints.



Alibert i thought was shocking but he missed things from both sides so ces't la vie.

I didn't say saints didn't deserve to win. But the ref was shocking and no way it was an 18 point game. Good unbiased report on the BBC (for a change).



Felt sorry for the Saints lad who went over the boards at Half time. Certainly not a deliberate bad challenge.

Glad to hear an opposition fan say this. Wheeler is a kid who is well liked by the Saints fans and rated by many within the club. Outside KR he is very underated.

Lost it in the first half, just didn't do enough and left ourselves with a mountain to carry second half.



Not sure the scaoreline showed how close it was but ATEOTD the better team won.
