If it is ruled the business has not followed disciplinary processes properly and it does cost £300,000.00 whoever is responsible ultimately should depart which should put the correct message out !

If he wins, that £300,000 is counted on the salary cap over the period of the contract AFAIK.

I will not comment until after the case has finished. I am not in receipt of all the facts and I am sure nobody else who posts on here is.

Don't need to know the facts of the case to recognise he's not worth 300k for 3 years!

I think it is blatantly obvious that if you take a case to court through a solicitor you will only be able to claim loss of earnings for money you are actually entitled to.

So wether you agree or not it would appear Mason was on approx 100k a year.

He's not claiming £300k loss of earnings but £300k damages..loss of earnings may make up a proportion of this, i doubt it is the full amount, considering his losses were mitigated by gaining a contract at another club.
