| They play Cas Tuesday.
ATEOTD no one could have predicted the weather leading to Eorl's match being cancelled and it's pretty much for sure that they didn't have 6 players getting arrested on a training week thus rendering the whole thing to chaos as part of the plan either.
Sh*t happens. In the bigger picture us not sending a squad to your liking is the last of our problems.

| Quote RAIDERSRUS="RAIDERSRUS"Like SRC wrote, the Huddersfield board assured the Barrow board that they would send a team made up of a mixture of first teamers and reserve/academy/u20's/ whatever you want to call them players. Nobodys saying the team isnt a decent one, like someone has said they pushed Saints all the way last season ( and yes i did watch the game on Sky), however the club has gone back on their word. Crabtree's testimonial was called off so this =#FF0000would have been a good opportunity to give some first team players a run out against a good team. There rant over, i'll go and get back under my stone now!!

A lot of Giants fans would agree with you on this point. I am worried we might be undercooked at the start of the season. I understand your dissappointment at not seeing somme of our first teamers.
=#FF0000BUT
Due to unforseen circumstances it is the coaches decision on which team to put out and he knows the squad and the players the best. I am happy to go along with that judgement as the needs of the club , players, families etc must come first.

| To be honest, it could of been 60 points to 6 if Barrow had converted all their tries. I hope the lad who went off with the leg injury isnt too badly injured as he was having a decent game.

| Yeah hope the lad is alright, looked like it might be a bad injury . Was pretty pleased with Barrow's performance today, Huddersfield just couldnt handle us in the 2nd half.

| BARROW TO STRONG FOR YOUNG GIANTS
A young Huddersfield Giants side went down by went down by 48 points to 6 against Barrow in Sunday’s pre-season game. After a competitive first half Barrow over ran the Giants in the second period.
The Giants took the lead in the game with a try from Jacob Fairbank, which was converted by Gregg McNally and the young side were competitive until the break trailing by 14 points to 6.
Barrow’s experience and size proved too much for the youngsters in the second half and the Cumbrian side ended the 80 minutes running in ten tries. There were also two injury blows for Paul Cook’s team with Gregg McNally leaving the field with a badly broken nose and Keiran Murphy stretchered off with a suspected broken ankle.

Utter rubbish. Repeat as many times as you like it remains untrue. Des Johnson is no shrinking violet. I will await his public comments.
The team that lost to Saints would have beaten you by 30 points. Our full 1st team, by even more.

| The Giants got a lot of stick for the side that played Saints last season but it really was not that inexperienced. The side that day would have beaten Barrow comfortably. The team was
Elliot Hodgson
Leroy Cudjoe
Josh Griffin
Michael Lawrence
Alex Brown
Tom Hemingway
Scott Moore
Darrell Griffin
Shaun Lunt
Paul Jackson
Simon Finnigan
Danny Kirmond
MartinAspinwall
Andy Raleigh
Kiel Carlisle
Larne Patrick
Danny Sculthorpe
2 players from this team played yesterday.
