Exactly P - and I dont think after (in his particular case DG will as hes seen much worse times than this!
And I wasnt suggesting to Jools that given the squad we had we should be surprised
But I am saying that after seeing what they did to Leeds (twice) and with a mandown on one of those occasions --noone will convince me that there was a distinct lack of "heart" on [umany[/u occasions in the second half of the season that cant be put down to injuries /bad luck/ refs decisions etc
Some of what happens I strongly suspect were down to poor decisions (I`ll leave it at that ) from above rather that affected players mindset - but I think as "professionals" (whilst not suggesting a revolt) they should have the personal pride to rise above it
CG and you suggest that we shouldnt be mamby pamby when things go turtle and stick with the task
I similarly suggest if the team had shown similar backbone it might have at least rewarded us with "home" draws in the playoff
We all have different comfort zones and some are more tolerant than others in whats acceptable
But for those who still make extremely long treks to matches home or away) -- it can seriously have an effect on what height the "bar" is set
To slag em off cos of how they want to apportion the family budget aint anyones right --
However much they enjoy their Rugby and supporting their team --there are other aspects in life to consider
End of!
