Plus we have Dale Ferguson departing for the Bulls next season, who we seem to have offered an excellent contract to earlier this year? So surely there must be money available in terms of being under the cap.



Whether we have enough money to spend up to the cap in the first place is another and just as important matter.

There are two seperate issues here that make the club look totally unprofessional. Not only Mason's sacking but the signing of Kopczak. Also add to this other poor decisions such as the Brett Hodgson leaving fiasco and the whole joke with Nathan Brown last season then it is very clear this club is been managed in a disastorous fashion.
