Has anything been said or any rumours flying around about it being changed to Friday Night or a change in venue. I could really do with knowing a.s.a.p

The venue won't be changed. Not heard any further rumours to before, but I think the general concensus last time was that this game could be shifted to Friday night.

No-one really knows what is going on as Sky have yet to tell us which matches they want that weekend. The situation appears to be that the game could be played at Twickenham Stoop on Friday evening as long as Sky don't want it. Sky have matches scheduled for broadcast on both Saturday and Sunday. It is believed we won't be able to play at the Twickenham Stoop either day. (Saturday due to the London RU dual header attracting 70000 over the road, Sunday due to the Women's RU World Cup Final being played at Twickenham Stoop.) There are rumours that at least one non London stadium has been approached, presumably in case Sky switch the game.



Basically it's a clear as mud and it's not really possible to make firm plans yet. Friday at Twickenham Stoop would be my guess but if Sky get involved it looks like it's going to be a bit of a problem.

I'd be fairly furious if the game was shifted tbh. Even though our season is dead, I don't think season ticket holders should be messed around like that. I can't see the game being televised as Wigan will have the league sewn up and we'll have nothing to play for obviously.

To be fair to the club it appears they may have no choice but to move it. Rumour has it that it is a Police ruling it can't be played on Saturday. Having said that if it is true it would surely have been useful for the club to confirm it can't be played on the scheduled date and may have to be moved.

I highly doubt that there has been a police ruling preventing our game from going ahead on the Saturday - nothing more than a rumour, I would suspect.

Any ideas where this non London Stadium is? Don't expect to see a big following for Wire if it is moved to a Friday this would cause chaos.

The London double header dates will have been known about for some time just like the Womens RU world Cup

final I would suspect. It makes you wonder why this whole issue was not addressed a while back,whilst appreciating that

Sky may put a spanner in the works.

Not really, but I'm not inclined to believe everything the club/sources at the club say tbh.
