A sad moment for the club to lose our one true figurehead player but I'm sure no-one will begrudge his departure. It leaves a big void in the squad though.

Not surprising with a kid on the way. He has been massive for us, and someone who really embraced the move away from the North.

As has been said, a great servant to the club who has given 100% for us over the past 10 years despite more recent injuries and personal issues. I wish him and his family all the very best for the future. Top man.

Great servant to the club, but family comes first especially as the reason is genuine. Will be a hole that will be hard to fill, on and off the field.

A real Legend! - it will be such a sad day to see him return home but as others have said no one will say anything but The Best to Rob, you have been such a loyal player, we will Miss You so much!

The end of an era. Surely one of the most underrated players in Superleague for many years, although around the time he first got into the England squad I think people outside our own club finally began to appreciate how good he is. A shame he's had so many injuries over the years which have restricted his number of appearances. He showed our club great loyalty when I'm sure he could easily have bagged a move to a bigger club up north.

PS - if you can act as a recruiting agent for us up there and send some more Cumbrian talent our way, that would be a huge bonus for our club.
