| All the players we have been linked with over the past couple of months(not alot) are all signing for other clubs.
Scott Wheeldon joined Wakefield, now Rikki Sheriffe has, Michael Worrincy is staying with Bradford and Chris Walker will remain back home in Oz.
Which leaves only Kyle Briggs and Gareth Moore as 'possibles', and if Briggs has another great game in the final like he did the semi, then he seems unlikely.
Is there any good news on the signings front?????
Kevin Penny still hasn't officially got a club

| I'm not sure how much business we do out in the open. We are not monied up, so can't go crazy but we should be looking for the right players for our club. ie players such as Matt James, regardless of issues over lack of ability and attributes, just didn't want to be too far away from family.
Some players don't want the distraction of contract negotiations until their season is over, and some coaches don't want that distraction either, so players who will become OOC at the end of 2010 may still be waiting to speak to clubs still involved in play-offs, rather than speaking to those who will send their coach to see them in person.
I would like us to be snapping people us left, right and centre, but I would imagine we will be a little more restrained and bring in the right characters. Either that or bringing in a coach is a priority for bringing in players he wants, or better still players he can bring in off the back of his name and reputation.

| I think we're much more likely to unearth affordable gems from down under than the UK. No more journeyman forwards from up-north please. We need to get Tony Rea back on the case with recruitment and maybe bring in a couple of decent backs from the north.

Since when does the UK make better backs than Australia, and Australia make better forwards than Britain.

That really is not what I said. The forwards we can afford in the UK are hopeless. There is a lack of strength in depth in this country and there arent many good forwards left on the market. There seem to be a few half decent outside backs in our price range in UK, Im not sure why. But for the cost, Id rather see us go down under for some pacific islanders, NRL forwards.

| A couple of experienced props and a halfback are a must, an experienced centre would be a bonus as Clubb could move to second row.

| We still need to resign Karl, and possibly other existing squad members - following DH's announcemnet Paul Blanchard was keen to work on that, so there may be a relationship between who we resign and how much we have for anyone else.

| I fear that it will be a selection of Championship/Championship One players and those who cannot get a game at Super League level. I'd like to think we'd snare a Pacific Islander/NRL player, but we'll see.
