Not so PP, go to the next page......there were two charges against Clubb, the one for a tackle on Eastmond still stands. Given he has had 2 issues in one match and how the RFL normally treat Quins, he will be lucky to get off with a warning...........but you will be pleased to know that Cunningham got off with a warning for his high shot on Temata (so everything in RFL land is fine and dandy).

Well, if it was reckless rather than intentional....it should receive the same sanction as Kieron Cunningham fracturing a players cheek bone with "an accidental push".....therefore Clubb should get a warning letter.

I noticed Cunningham wasn't put up for his 'lazy arm' tackle in the first half.
Anyone else remember what i'm talking about?
Where he seems to run in, swings the arm to tackle the man, if that wasn't intent I don't know what is.

This incident?
Those type of tackles happen week in week out, in both the amateur leagues and pro rugby. First contact is with ball, and the force of contact promotes the arm up into the face of the opposition player. Penalty sufficient, it's not intentional, it's the laws of physics and force, if you'd ever played the sport you'd know that they happen. Certainly worthy of a penalty but nothing more. |

Not that incident.
Seeing how it wasn't even picked up by the officals(surprise, surprise), it couldn't of been this incident. |
